ACM-W Computer Science Research Conference Scholarships 2025 Open

In an empowering move to inspire and elevate women in technology, ACM-W is now inviting global applications for its Computer Science Research Conference Scholarships 2025! This prestigious initiative is open to women undergraduate and graduate students in Computer Science and related fields who dream of attending world-class research conferences — even if they are not ACM-affiliated.

Whether you’re aiming to boost your research profile, ignite future collaborations, or simply take your first bold step into the international computing community, this scholarship could be the rocket fuel you need!


What’s on Offer?

  • Up to $600 for intra-continental travel
  • Up to $1200 for intercontinental travel

Plus, if you attend one of several ACM Special Interest Group (SIG) conferences, you might even get free conference registration and a personal mentor during the event!

Fun fact: You don’t even need to be presenting a paper to be eligible – simply the ambition to learn and grow is enough.


Which Conferences Are Eligible?

You can apply for any computer science research conference that aligns with your field — whether it’s ACM-affiliated or not!

However, scholarships do not apply for:

  • The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing
  • The Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing
