Calling all aspiring changemakers, young leaders, and visionaries between Asia and Europe — this is your chance to shine on the global stage! The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) has officially opened applications for the 6th ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS6) — and it’s more exciting, futuristic, and empowering than ever before.
This year’s theme? Leadership in Society 5.0 — a bold vision of a human-centered society that combines physical and cyberspace to solve today’s biggest challenges. If you’re passionate about ethical innovation, digital inclusion, and community impact, then this summit is for YOU.
What Is ASEFYLS?
The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is a high-impact leadership development program that brings together ambitious youth from across Asia and Europe. It follows a 360° leadership model, encouraging personal (YOU), team (WE), and societal (ALL) leadership. Now in its 6th edition, ASEFYLS will explore how young leaders can drive positive change in a tech-integrated future—known as Society 5.0.

Program Timeline (July–October 2025)
1# Knowledge Building Phase: 29 July – 26 August 2025 (Online)
Join 9 online sessions and self-paced activities exploring leadership values, tech ethics, and innovation.
2# Leadership in Action Phase: 27 August – 28 September 2025 (Online)
Team up with participants from Asia and Europe to work on case studies and propose collaborative solutions.
3# Youth Summit in Osaka, Japan: 29 September – 5 October 2025 (On-site)
Celebrate your journey with in-person sessions, expert dialogues, cultural exchange, and project presentations in Osaka.
Who Can Apply?
- You must be a citizen of an ASEM country (Asia-Europe Meeting partner states)
- Aged between 18 and 30
- Have strong English communication skills
- Have experience or motivation in leadership and community impact.
