About the Global Excellence Scholarship
The Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship is a merit-based award granted to international (non-EU) students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and the potential to enrich the Trinity community.
Award Value: Between €2,000 to €5,000 – this will be deducted once from your tuition fee.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be non-EU status and liable to pay tuition at non-EU rate.
- Must have received a conditional or firm offer for a postgraduate taught program at Trinity College Dublin.
- Note: Applicants to Business programmes are not eligible for this scholarship. They may instead inquire about business-specific funding via [email protected].
- Chinese applicants: Please apply to the Claddagh Postgraduate Scholarship Programme instead.
Selection Criteria
Scholarships are competitive and awarded based on:
- Academic merit
- A 200-word personal statement on how you will contribute to Trinity’s diverse and vibrant community.
- Consideration of regional and programme diversity to ensure global representation on campus.

Application Deadline
The 3rd batch deadline to apply for the Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship at Trinity College Dublin for Indian applicants is 15th June 2025, with the announcement of results scheduled for 1st July, 2025.
