Fellowship Benefits
The Humphrey Fellowship is a fully funded, non-degree program that includes:

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of full-time professional experience by June 2026
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and commitment to public service
- Proficient English skills (TOEFL recommended score: 71 iBT or 525 PBT)
- Limited or no prior experience in the United States
- Not a recent university graduate or academic without management responsibilities
Long-Term English training available for those with TOEFL scores of 42–61 iBT or 440–500 PBT.

Application Timeline
The application process for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program 2026–2027 follows a structured schedule. All online applications must be submitted no later than July 31, 2025, while supporting documents sent by post must arrive by July 25, 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for in-person interviews at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade in early September 2025.
Final selections will be announced by the program’s administrators in February 2026, and selected fellows will begin their fellowship experience in the mid-to-late 2026 academic year in the United States.
