Philippines Visa-Free Entry Expanded to More Countries Starting 08 June 2025

This game-changing update, announced by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), aims to supercharge tourism from India—one of Asia’s fastest-growing outbound travel markets.
What’s New? Visa-Free Entry for Indian Nationals!
Effective 08 June 2025, Indian nationals can now enjoy visa-free travel to the Philippines under two streamlined routes, based on specific conditions.
Option 1: 14-Day Visa-Free Entry for Tourism
Indian citizens may now enter the Philippines without a visa for up to 14 days (non-extendible and non-convertible), provided they meet the following:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay
- Confirmed hotel accommodation or booking
- Proof of financial capacity (sufficient funds)
- Return or onward ticket to next destination
✅ This access applies to all Indian passport holders, regardless of visa status in other countries.
Option 2: 30-Day Visa-Free Entry on AJACSSUK Visa/Residence Permits
Indian travelers holding valid and current visas or residence permits for any of the following countries can stay up to 30 days visa-free in the Philippines: United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, Singapore, United Kingdom, and Schengen Area.
Required Documents:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay
- Valid AJACSSUK visa/residence permit
- Return or onward ticket to another destination.
Additional Entry Notes Applicable from June 2025
- Visa-free entry is only for tourism and cannot be extended or converted into other visa types or long-term statuses.
- Entry is available through any Philippine port.
- Indian nationals must have no derogatory record with the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
- Long-term stays or non-tourism purposes (e.g., study, work, business) still require a visa from a Philippine embassy or consulate.
- Indian citizens eligible for e-Visas can apply at https://www.evisa.gov.ph, although e-Visas are also non-convertible and non-extendable.
