Cowrie Foundation Scholarship 2025/26 at University of Aberdeen

The University of Aberdeen, in proud partnership with the Cowrie Scholarship Foundation (CSF), is inviting applications for the Cowrie Foundation Scholarship 2025/26 – an impactful initiative aimed at supporting Black British undergraduate students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

What’s on Offer?

The Cowrie Foundation Scholarship covers:

  • Full tuition fees for the duration of your undergraduate degree (Home/UK fees).
  • Annual maintenance stipend of up to £8,000 for each year of your course.
  • Two (02) full scholarships are available for the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Continued support throughout your program, subject to satisfactory academic progression.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this life-changing opportunity, you must:

  1. Education Offer: Have firmly accepted an offer to begin your first full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Aberdeen in the 2025/26 academic year.
  2. Fee Status: Be assessed as a ‘Home’ or ‘Rest of UK’ student.
  3. Income Threshold: Have a household income of £25,000 or less per annum.
  4. Financial Support: Have applied for income-assessed government student finance and be in receipt of full financial support. You must give consent for the University to access this financial information.

Programs Offered

All undergraduate programs at the University of Aberdeen are eligible under this scholarship, provided the student meets the general criteria.
