Program Overview

Hosted by DTU Compute, this PhD position is part of the prestigious Danish Research Council Project 1 (DRC-1). The research focuses on slow-fast analytic vector fields and offers opportunities for international collaboration, including with a project partner in Australia.

You’ll be embedded in the Section for Mathematics at DTU Compute, a world-leading department in mathematical research and digital technologies, located in the scenic town of Lyngby—just outside Copenhagen.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Hold a two (02) year master’s degree (120 ECTS) in pure or applied mathematics.
  • Demonstrate top-level grades in mathematical analysis.
  • Be highly motivated to do rigorous theoretical mathematics.
  • Possess strong research potential (prior knowledge in dynamical systems is a plus, not mandatory).
  • Be ready to participate in international conferences and departmental activities.
  • Meet DTU’s PhD enrolment requirements.

Note: You may apply if your master’s is in progress, but cannot start before obtaining it.
