Tajikistan and Dominica Sign Visa Free Travel Deal Effective Immediately
In a major step toward strengthening bilateral ties and boosting people-to-people connections, Tajikistan and the Commonwealth of Dominica have officially launched a visa-free regime for their citizens, effective July 17, 2025.
Under this new agreement, citizens of both Tajikistan and Dominica holding diplomatic, official, or ordinary passports can now enter and stay in each other’s countries without a visa for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
This development marks a significant milestone in enhancing international cooperation, tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the Central Asian nation and the Caribbean island state.
What This Means for Citizens?
- Tajikistani citizens can now travel to Dominica for tourism, business, or official visits without the hassle of applying for a visa.
- Dominican citizens are also free to visit Tajikistan visa-free for up to 90 days, encouraging exploration of Central Asia’s mountains, heritage, and investment opportunities.
- This mutual exemption applies to diplomatic, official, and ordinary passport holders.
This is part of both nations’ efforts to promote global mobility, increase mutual understanding, and simplify international travel processes for their people.
