International Fellowship 2025 at University of Brighton Available

The Centre for Design History (CDH) at the University of Brighton has officially opened applications for its International Visiting Research Fellow (VRF) 2025/26, inviting accomplished researchers from around the world to immerse themselves in its vibrant research community. This British fellowship opportunity offers a unique chance for scholars working in the expansive fields of design, visual and material culture to collaborate with CDH’s global network of over 50 members, including curators, designers, artists, and academics.

The fellowship supports intellectual exchange and global engagement, offering researchers a platform to advance their work within one of the UK’s most interdisciplinary design research environments. This is your chance to collaborate across six core themes: Architectural and Spatial Histories, Design Activism, Fashion and Textile Histories, Museums and Exhibitions, Sustainability in Design, and Transnationalism.

The CDH Visiting Research Fellowship provides:

  1. Up to £1,000 for travel, accommodation, and research-related expenses.
