Each year, up to ten Senior Fellowships and multiple Early-Career Fellowships are awarded to exceptional academics from all disciplines, particularly those daring to cross the boundaries of conventional fields. Fellowship Tracks & Benefits
1# ViCAS Senior Fellowship Programme
Who it’s for: Established international scholars holding a professorial or equivalent senior academic position in any discipline.
Funding Package:
- € 7,000 monthly stipend
- € 1,500 monthly accommodation allowance
Fellowship Dates: 1 October 2026 – 30 June 2027
Application Deadline: 1 September 2025.
2# ViCAS Early-Career Fellowship Programme
Who it’s for: Researchers from all fields who earned their PhD within the last 8 years.
Funding Package:
- € 5,500 monthly stipend
- € 1,500 monthly accommodation allowance
Fellowship Dates: 1 October 2026 – 30 June 2027
Application Deadline: 1 September 2025.
The last date to apply for both the ViCAS Senior Fellowship Programme and the ViCAS Early-Career Fellowship Programme is 1 September 2025.
