If you are a bachelor’s degree holder from the Middle East and dream of pursuing advanced studies in Italy, the Med-Or Italian Foundation Scholars Program offers a golden opportunity. In collaboration with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, this scholarship supports two outstanding students enrolling in the Master’s Program in Middle Eastern Studies for the academic year 2026.

Scholarship Package Details
This opportunity is not just about covering tuition; it is about supporting your academic journey and making it easier to live, study, and thrive in one of Europe’s most vibrant cultural hubs. Each scholarship is valued at EUR 12,000, which will cover tuition fees and contribute toward travel, accommodation, and living expenses during your studies in Milan.
The scholarship funds will be distributed in two parts. An amount of EUR 7,500 will be allocated in January 2026 to cover tuition and university fees, while the remaining EUR 4,500 will be disbursed for travel and living expenses in two instalments: EUR 2,500 by the end of December 2025 and EUR 2,000 by the end of April 2026. Please note that these amounts may be subject to Italian tax deductions.
Eligibility Details of Scholarship
To be eligible, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification and must be citizens or residents of one of the eligible Middle Eastern countries, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, or the Palestinian National Authority.
This scholarship is designed to create pathways for talented students from these regions to deepen their expertise in Middle Eastern affairs while engaging in high-level academic discourse in Italy.
Application Method
The application process is straightforward but requires careful attention. If you graduated from an Italian university, you must submit your application via this portal. If your degree was awarded by a non-Italian university, your application should be submitted through this portal.
In both cases, you must clearly state in your application that you wish to be considered for the Med-Or Italian Foundation Scholarship and attach a copy of your passport or proof of residency along with all other required documents for international admissions.
