HFT Stuttgart Germany Master Degree Scholarship 2026 intakes Announced
The Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart (Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences) has announced the opening of applications for its International Master’s Programme in Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics. This program has been globally recognized since 1999 and has built a strong alumni network of over 500 graduates from 89 countries. The three-semester, practice-oriented course prepares students for leadership roles in mapping, land management, forestry, agriculture, environment, and urban planning.
Funding Package
The program is supported by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), which has been awarding scholarships to outstanding international students in this field since the program’s inception. DAAD scholarships cover tuition fees, provide a monthly stipend for living expenses, health insurance, and other benefits, making this program financially accessible for talented candidates worldwide. Additionally, the course is delivered entirely in English, ensuring inclusivity for non-German speakers.
Eligibility Criteria
The Master’s programme is open to academically qualified candidates from all over the world. Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Academic Background: A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geodesy, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry, or related fields involving geoinformation or spatial sciences.
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience is strongly recommended.
- Language Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency is mandatory (e.g., TOEFL 550 or equivalent). TOEFL Home Edition is also accepted.
- Personal Fit: Candidates should demonstrate motivation to deepen their knowledge in photogrammetry, geoinformatics, and remote sensing while thriving in an intercultural environment.
Application Timeline
Applications for the Master’s Programme in Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics at HFT Stuttgart follow different deadlines depending on applicant category:
- 15 April 2026 – for applicants from non-EU countries
- 15 July 2026 – for applicants from EU countries
- 15 October 2025 – for applicants applying with a DAAD scholarship and study course
The next program officially begins in July 2026, with the first round of applications for the study course opening on 15 July 2026.
