This opportunity is designed to support aspiring business leaders by reducing financial barriers and encouraging individuals with proven managerial and entrepreneurial backgrounds to advance their education.
MBA Kent Scholarship Value
The award offers 50% off tuition fees, making it a highly competitive and financially supportive opportunity. A total of ten scholarships are available for successful applicants entering the MBA program.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to all applicants who:
- Are members of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.
- Hold a formal offer to study on the MBA for 2025 entry.
- Possess substantial managerial or professional work experience, or have demonstrated success as entrepreneurs.
- Are self-funded candidates.
Applicants are expected to showcase not only leadership experience but also a strong commitment to sustainable and social business initiatives. The selection panel will carefully review all applications, and successful candidates will be notified within one week of the panel’s decision.
Expectations for Awardees
Recipients of the scholarship are encouraged to continue championing areas such as women in leadership, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. As part of the program, scholars will:
- Organize projects or events that add value to the MBA experience.
- Act as MBA champions, supporting recruitment activities and promoting collaboration within the Chamber network.
- Join the alumni ambassador network upon graduation, contributing to key events and initiatives in the UK.
Application Process
Interested candidates must first apply for admission to the MBA program at Kent Business School. Once a formal offer has been received, applicants can submit their scholarship applications via the Applicant Portal. The University emphasizes that only one Kent Business School or University scholarship may be held by a student, whichever offers the higher financial benefit.
