Mundus MAPP Fully-funded Scholarship 2026-2028 Batch Announcement

Applications are now open for the 2026–2028 Mundus MAPP cohort, an internationally renowned joint master’s program in public policy funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ initiative. This opportunity invites outstanding candidates from across the world to apply for a fully supported academic journey that combines rigorous training, international exposure, and specialization in public policy.

A Consortium of Universities

Mundus MAPP is jointly delivered by a consortium of four leading institutions: Central European University (CEU), Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (ISS), and the University of York. The program has earned global recognition for producing highly skilled graduates prepared to take on policy and governance challenges.

Admissions are centrally managed by Central European University Private University (CEU PU). Each applicant undergoes a qualitative evaluation jointly conducted by the consortium universities. Importantly, candidates must submit their applications exclusively to CEU PU; submissions to individual partner institutions will not be accepted.

Mobility Tracks and Specializations

Applicants can select from one of four mobility tracks, each offering a unique focus area in public policy:

  • CEU PU–IBEI Track: Global Public Policy specialization
  • CEU PU–York Track: European Public Policy specialization
  • ISS–IBEI Track: Political Economy and Development specialization
  • ISS–York Track: Governance and Development specialization.

This structure allows students to experience academic life in multiple countries while developing specialized expertise.

Scholarship Support Through Erasmus Mundus

The program offers Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scholarships to exceptional applicants, covering tuition, living costs, and travel expenses. Candidates do not need to submit a separate application for the scholarship; they simply indicate their interest within the online application form.
