The University of Coimbra—one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious universities—has just opened a Research Fellowship call for worldwide applicants under the ATE – Aliança para a Transição Energética Project. You’ll be working under Dr. André Manuel dos Santos Mendes at Coimbra’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where your mission will be to:

• Program control algorithms on Xilinx FPGA in power electronics systems.
• Build a graphical user interface in QT to interact with controllers.
• Run experimental tests that directly contribute to energy sustainability in maritime power systems.
