- Be an undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral student in Korean Studies at an overseas university (including degree candidates).
- Have advanced Korean language proficiency, as all lectures are taught in Korean.
- Meet course-specific requirements:
- Basic Course (13th cohort, March–June 2026): Open to students with general Korean studies background.
- Advanced Course (14th cohort, Sept–Dec 2026): Applicants must have completed a basic Hanmun course or present proof of equivalent training.
- Be a non-Korean national (Korean citizens and already graduated students are ineligible).
