Master Degree Tuition Fee Scholarship 2026 at University of Eastern Finland

Admissions Events for Prospective Students

Tuition Fees and Scholarships

For non-EU/EEA students, the annual tuition fee for Master’s programmes is €10,000 per academic year. Importantly, tuition fees remain fixed for the entire duration of the degree. UEF also offers tuition waivers and scholarships to outstanding students, making high-quality education more affordable.


Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree equivalent to at least three years of full-time study from a recognized higher education institution. The degree should entitle the student to pursue Master’s studies in the awarding country and be in the same or a closely related field.

  • Required documents: Degree certificate, academic transcript, passport copy, and official translations (if not in English, Finnish, or Swedish).
  • Additional documents: Programme-specific requirements such as reference letters, CV, or motivation letter may apply.
  • Language requirement: Proof of fluency in English is mandatory.

Students who are in the final semester of their Bachelor’s degree may also apply. In such cases, conditional admission will be granted, provided all final documents are submitted by 30 July 2026.

Application Timeline

UEF’s next application period for Master’s programmes taught in English will run from January 7 to January 21, 2026 (first joint national application round).

  • Early application period for Economics and Business Administration: October 1 to October 15, 2025.
  • Erasmus Mundus Master’s programmes: Application period from December 15, 2025 to January 21, 2026.
