Youth Ambassador Program 2026 at Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC)
The Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC) has opened applications for its Youth Ambassador Program 2026, inviting young leaders from Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDE) to shape the global sustainability agenda. Scheduled to take place on June 29–30, 2026, in Hamburg, Germany, this fully funded opportunity gives youth a seat at the table alongside world leaders, policymakers, and innovators driving progress on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Bridging the Global Voice Gap
Despite being at the forefront of community action, youth voices from emerging economies are still underrepresented in international policy dialogues. The HSC Youth Ambassador Program aims to bridge this gap by empowering young changemakers to contribute directly to global sustainability discussions. Ambassadors will represent the concerns, innovations, and perspectives of their communities — ensuring that the sustainability transition is inclusive, equitable, and globally informed.
As past Youth Ambassador Si Thu Wai from Myanmar shared:
“This experience significantly broadened my understanding of global interconnectedness and reinforced my commitment to collaborative, cross-cultural solutions. It strengthened my skills in diplomacy and advocacy.”
