Do You Stand Eligible for EU Scholarship?
To qualify for the EU Scholarship Programme for Cypriot Youth at UWC, applicants must meet five key eligibility requirements. First, you must fall within the age range of students born between 2 August 2008 and 30 August 2010. Second, you should be currently enrolled in Year 10 or Year 11, demonstrating steady academic progress.
Third, residency and nationality conditions apply—you must be a permanent resident of Cyprus, have at least one parent with Cypriot nationality, and show proof of attending school in Cyprus for a minimum of five cumulative years. Additionally, applicants are expected to embody the personal values UWC looks for, including intercultural understanding, empathy, leadership potential, and a commitment to community engagement. While fluency is not required, a basic level of English proficiency is recommended to navigate the academic environment
Required Documents To Apply for EU Scholarship
To submit a valid application, you must upload:
- School report for 2025–2026 (if available)
- Transcripts for the last four academic years
- Your ID card or passport
- A parent’s Cypriot ID or passport
- A recent photograph
- Proof of 5-year schooling in Cyprus (if part studied abroad)
Missing documents = automatic ineligibility, so prepare everything early.
