The Bogazici University Exchange Program provides academic mobility and access to partner universities across multiple countries. Although no grants are provided by Bogazici University, the opportunity itself offers:

- Access to academic programs aligned with students’ fields of study
- Enhanced international exposure and academic growth
- Eligibility to apply to universities in the UK and Switzerland under the Exchange framework
- A chance to study abroad even for students who previously participated (with point deduction)

Students planning to study in Switzerland may also apply for grants offered directly by the Swiss host institutions.
Eligibility Checks (Must Meet All Requirements)
To apply successfully, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
1# Academic Standing
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least two semesters at Bogazici University.
- Graduate students must have completed at least one semester, excluding English Prep and remedial terms.
- Undergraduate minimum GPA: 2.50/4.00
- Graduate minimum GPA: 3.00/4.00
2# Partner University Requirements
Students must meet all conditions set by the chosen host university, including:
- Language requirements
- Specific GPA thresholds
- Academic prerequisites
3# Enrollment Requirements
- Students must remain enrolled at Bogazici University for at least one more semester after returning from the exchange period (excluding summer sessions).
- Senior students must secure advisor approval confirming they will study at BU for at least one additional semester after returning.
4# Language Documentation
- Students without BUEPT results must email their IELTS/TOEFL scores before applying.
- If BUEPT results have improved, the updated score must be submitted before the application.
5# Previous Participation Rules
- Students who previously joined any Exchange Program may reapply; however, 10 points will be deducted.
- No student may participate for more than two semesters in total.
- Participation in a 1-year program disqualifies students from future Exchange applications.
