    EPSRC DLA rules allow up to 30% of the cohort to be international applicants, with no tuition fee difference charged.
  • Academic Qualification Requirement
    Applicants must hold at least a 2.1 undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering or a closely related science discipline.
  • English Language Requirement
    IELTS 6.5 overall, with no component below 5.5, or a Swansea University–recognized equivalent.
  • Country-Specific Entry Requirements
    International qualifications will be assessed using Swansea University’s official country comparison guidelines.
  • ATAS Clearance (if required)
    Some applicants may require ATAS clearance—but this is not needed at the scholarship application stage.
  • Additional Requirements
