Who Can Be Considered?

This is a merit-based Curtin university scholarship aimed at academically outstanding international students.

  • Must be an international applicant, non-sponsored student of any nationality
  • Must meet or exceed Curtin’s academic cut-off score for the scholarship
  • Must be commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses for the first time
  • Must enroll in a full undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree by coursework
  • Certain programs, such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, are excluded

Students who meet the academic requirements are automatically assessed—no extra scholarship application is needed.


How to Apply?

The application process is intentionally simple and integrated with Curtin’s admission system.

  • Apply directly for an eligible course through Curtin University’s online application portal
  • No separate scholarship application is required
  • Eligible students are automatically considered as part of their course application
  • Successful candidates receive a supplementary scholarship letter along with their official Letter of Offer

Last Date To Apply

The Global Curtin Merit Scholarship has no separate deadline. Eligible students are automatically considered when applying for an eligible course. The last date to be considered depends on the course application closing date as in below table:
