Europe’s next generation of changemakers has a powerful new funding gateway. The You and Europe Scholarship Programme 2026, jointly backed by Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S. and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, is now calling high-achieving European students to pursue fully supported Master’s studies in Germany. Designed for students beginning a 3–4 semester Master’s in autumn 2026, this prestigious programme blends generous financial support with elite networking and Europe-focused academic engagement—making it one of the most compelling scholarship opportunities of the year.

At its core, You and Europe is more than funding. It’s a platform for international dialogue, cultural exchange, and leadership development—bringing together socially engaged scholars from across geographical Europe (and Israel) to strengthen European cohesion while celebrating diversity. With need-based stipends, covered study-related benefits, and a built-in pan-European network, the programme creates a powerful launchpad for future leaders.

What the You and Europe Scholarship Offers to Selected Scholars?

Winning the You and Europe Scholarship Programme means studying in Germany with financial peace of mind and unmatched academic exposure. Scholars receive a need-based monthly stipend ranging from €300 to €1,112, complemented by additional allowances such as health insurance and family support where applicable, for the standard duration of a Master’s degree (up to two years).

Beyond funding, the programme invests heavily in intellectual growth and connection. Scholars take part in two annual Europe-themed network meetings, with accommodation, meals, and programme fees fully covered and travel costs subsidised. Optional access to the Studienstiftung’s flagship Europe-focused offerings—such as the Europe Academy, EU simulation exercises, and digital thematic series—adds a strong policy and leadership dimension. Scholars also benefit from a dedicated digital networking platform, inclusion in a peer programme, and on-request on-site mentoring through a local Studienstiftung contact at the place of study.
