Programmes Covered Under the Scholarship (June 2026)

The scholarships are available at Middle East Technical University Scholarships for June 2026 programmes, with two funded places per course:

Geoeconomics Uncovered: Theory Meets Evidence (1–4 June 2026)
This four-day programme introduces participants to the rapidly growing field of geoeconomics, where economics intersects with global power and strategy. The course blends lectures and tutorials with an empirical workshop and policy roundtable, making it ideal for graduate students, researchers, and professionals seeking a rigorous but accessible entry into geoeconomic analysis.

Fundamentals of Graduate Economics and Finance (22–26 June 2026)
Designed for undergraduate students with A-level Mathematics who are considering postgraduate study in economics, this five-day programme strengthens core analytical and quantitative skills. Participants also receive structured guidance on building a compelling Statement of Purpose and gain first-hand exposure to life and study at Oxford.

In addition, the Oxford University Economics Summer School will also run a broader Summer School from 7–11 September 2026, offering courses in Applied Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Econometrics for graduate students, early-career researchers, and professionals. This September programme is separate from the June scholarship-funded courses.
