Depending on the scholarship modality, additional requirements may apply, including possible institutional agreements between Latin American institutions and Spanish counterparts.

The last date to apply for the Fundación Carolina Postgraduate and Institutional Scholarships 2026-2027 is 2 March 2026, while the special ECV programme closes earlier on 18 February 2026. For all other modalities, including PhD scholarships, post-doctoral stays, and mobility grants, the final deadline to submit applications is 9 April 2026.
