International students currently studying at Sweden’s top-ranked KTH Royal Institute of Technology now have a new opportunity to reduce their tuition burden through the KTH One-Year Scholarships 2026. Designed for outstanding master’s students already enrolled at KTH, this merit-based scholarship recognizes academic excellence achieved during the first year of a two-year master’s programme and rewards top performers with full tuition coverage for their second year.
This competitive scholarship is one of KTH’s most prestigious internal funding options and is specifically aimed at fee-paying international master’s students who demonstrate exceptional academic progress. In the 2025 selection cycle, only 5 percent of eligible applicants were nominated, with 12 students selected out of 220, highlighting the highly selective nature of this funding opportunity for 2026.
