Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences Scholarships 2027 Guide Helps you Prepare the Documents
Found an SLU programme you love, but your transcripts are missing, your English evidence is undecided and your scholarship letter is still a blank page? Those are problems you can solve before applications open. This Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences Scholarships 2027 guide helps you prepare the documents that get your admission application assessed—and your scholarship case taken seriously.
Sweden’s autumn 2027 international admissions round opens on 16 October 2026. SLU’s separate 2027 scholarship dates are not yet announced. Start with your documents now.
First, check that your SLU programme qualifies
Forest and Landscape is the bachelor’s covered by the current scheme. Master’s exclusions are Outdoor Environments for Health and Well-Being, emPLANT+, EMABG, EnvEuro and Sustainable Development. Check the 2027 call before committing.
Compare your qualifications with the programme prerequisites. A scholarship cannot repair an admission application missing required subjects.
Build your admission folder before polishing your letter
- Bachelor’s applicants: Gather completed upper-secondary qualifications and final grades. SLU’s current guidance excludes applicants still completing those qualifications.
- Master’s applicants: Prepare your bachelor’s certificate and transcripts. Final-year students must follow the special documentation route.
- Everyone: Prepare passport identification, English evidence and required official translations; follow country-specific submission instructions.
- Programme extras: Landscape Architecture for Sustainable Urbanization requires a portfolio. Most programmes disregard unsolicited recommendation or motivation letters for admission.
Do not leave English until after admission: SLU does not grant conditional admission for missing English requirements.
Prepare your scholarship case, then apply in order
Draft a specific motivation letter now: explain your programme choice, relevant academic achievements and intended contribution. Replace “I love sustainability” with a project, result or problem you want to investigate. Adapt the draft to the eventual form instructions.
- Check SLU’s document guidance and request missing records.
- Apply through UniversityAdmissions.se, ranking your eligible SLU programme first. Complete documents and fee payment on time.
- Monitor your email and SLU’s scholarship instructions for the separate application. Current scholarship selection requires no CV or reference letters.
