Funding Benefits of MOFA Taiwanese Scholarship
The MOFA Taiwan Fellowship provides substantial financial support to its recipients, ensuring they can focus entirely on their research. The financial assistance includes:

- Monthly Grants: Professors, associate professors, research fellows, or associate research fellows receive a monthly stipend of NT$60,000. Whereas, assistant professors, assistant research fellows, or doctoral candidates receive a monthly stipend of NT$50,000.
- Travel Subsidy: Recipients are awarded one round-trip, economy-class ticket for the most direct route to Taiwan. The subsidy amount is determined by MOFA according to relevant regulations.
- Fellowship Duration: The fellowship term ranges from 3 to 12 months, allowing scholars to engage in both short-term and long-term research projects.
- Insurance Coverage: Recipients are provided with accident insurance and medical insurance for accidental injuries, with coverage up to NT$1 million.
