What is the Coca-Cola Scholars Program?

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation supports more than 1,400 exceptional college students annually, distributing $3.55 million in scholarships through three nationally recognized programs. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school, recognizing their leadership abilities, service commitments, and significant contributions to their schools and communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $84 million in educational support to more than 6,900 Coca-Cola Scholars.

Coca Cola Scholars Program Coverage Details

Each year, 150 outstanding high school seniors are selected to receive a $20,000 scholarship to support their post-secondary education. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is not just about financial support; it’s about recognizing and empowering young leaders who are dedicated to creating positive change in their communities.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the 2025 Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled high school or home-schooled students attending school in one of the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or select Department of Defense (DoD) schools. Students graduating from American or expat schools abroad are not eligible.
  • Citizenship: Must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees, as defined by the U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility.
  • Graduation: Expecting to receive a high school diploma during the current academic year.
  • Post-Secondary Plans: Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.
  • Academic Performance: Able to verify a minimum overall B/3.0 GPA in high school coursework.

Ineligible Applicants

Unfortunately, the following individuals are not eligible for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program:

  • Children or grandchildren of current employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, or its subsidiaries.
  • Children or grandchildren of former employees who are currently receiving retirement benefits from Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, or its subsidiaries.
  • International students, except those attending DoD schools.
  • High school graduates.
  • Temporary residents.
