Aalto University in Finland is inviting applications for its 2-year Master’s degree programs for studies beginning in the autumn of 2025. If you’re interested in pursuing a Master’s in art and design, business and economics, or technology and engineering, Aalto University offers a range of degree options, with scholarships available for eligible students.
Open for Applications: Aalto University Excellence Scholarship 2025
Aalto University offers scholarships to outstanding fee-paying students in the form of tuition fee waivers. This scholarship is awarded based on merit, ranking applicants according to evaluation criteria specific to each study option. It does not cover living expenses, and recipients are expected to have sufficient financial resources to support themselves in Finland (at least 800 euros per month).
Eligibility for the Scholarship:
- Open to applicants from outside the EU/EEA countries and Switzerland who are liable to pay tuition fees.
- Applicants can apply for the scholarship directly on the Master’s program application form by answering “yes” to the relevant question.
- Scholarship and admission decisions are announced together, and scholarship decisions cannot be appealed.

Aalto University offers master’s degrees across three main fields:
- Art and Design: Master of Arts (Art and Design)
- Business and Economics: Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration)
- Technology and Engineering: Master of Science (Technology), Master of Science (Architecture), or Master of Science (Landscape Architecture.
