Abertay International Scholarship 2026 Offering £3,000 per Year

Abertay University in the United Kingdom has officially confirmed the Abertay International Scholarship 2026, offering up to £3,000 per year in tuition fee reduction for eligible international undergraduate and postgraduate taught students enrolling for the 2026 study intake. This scholarship is designed to ease the financial burden for overseas students planning to study on campus in Dundee, Scotland, and can support students for up to four (04) years, depending on the length of their degree.

This news update explains what the Abertay International Scholarship 2026 is, who can apply, how much funding is available, and how the selection process works, so prospective applicants worldwide can plan their applications early and avoid missing out on automatic consideration.

What Is the Abertay International Scholarship 2026?

The Abertay International Scholarship is a tuition fee reduction award for newly admitted international students. Successful candidates receive £3,000 per academic year, which is automatically deducted from tuition fees. The scholarship is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree programmes studied full-time and on campus at Abertay University.

Students may receive the award for each year of their programme, up to a maximum of four years, provided they continue studying in Dundee and remain eligible.

Scholarship Value and Duration

The scholarship provides £3,000 per year toward tuition fees and may be awarded for:

  • The full duration of an undergraduate degree (up to four years), or
  • The full duration of a postgraduate taught programme (typically one year).

Students admitted with advanced entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme may also receive the award, as long as all eligibility requirements are met.

Eligibility Checks – Who Can Apply?

To be considered for the Abertay International Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet all of the following conditions. Applicants must be classified as international (overseas) fee-paying students by Abertay University and must have met all academic conditions attached to their offer of admission. The scholarship is only available to new full-time students enrolling in on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes.

For postgraduate taught applicants, candidates are expected to apply with the equivalent of a UK 2:1 bachelor’s degree or higher, which generally means around 60% or above, depending on the grading system of the awarding institution.

Scholarship Combinations

The Abertay International Scholarship can be combined with several other institutional awards, including the Dean’s Scholarship, Principal’s Excellence Scholarship, Principal’s Excellence Scholarship – Global, and the Abertay IB30+ Scholarship. Applicants should review each scholarship individually to understand total combined funding values. The Abertay Alumni Discount, however, is not available to international fee-paying students and cannot be combined with this award.

Availability for 2026 Intake

The Abertay International Scholarship is available for students applying for the 2026 intake. Since the award is assessed automatically alongside admission applications, students are encouraged to apply early for their chosen programme to ensure timely consideration and scholarship notification.
