Research Permissions & Visas
- Applicants are responsible for securing the appropriate research permits and visas.
- For short stays under three months, researchers may use a tourist visa and apply for permits inside Turkey.
- For longer stays, a research visa must be obtained before entry.
- If you plan to work with museum collections or libraries, you’ll need approval from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
