The AtkinsRéalis Foundation Scholarship supports minority students working towards a bachelor’s degree in STEM fields, particularly those related to the foundation’s industry focus areas, such as:

  • Architecture
  • Civil Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Geomatics
  • Landscape Architecture
  • MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) Engineering
  • Project Management
  • Transportation Planning

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Enrollment Status: Full-time student at an accredited and approved college or university.
  • Academic Requirement: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale each semester.
  • Credit Hours: Enroll in at least 12 credits per contiguous fall and spring semesters.
  • Degree Path: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline related to the industry with at least 12 completed college credits at the current institution before applying.

Selection Process

Recipients of the AtkinsRéalis Foundation Scholarship are chosen on a competitive basis by a selection committee comprised of senior professionals, management, and human resources staff from AtkinsRéalis. The committee evaluates candidates based on:

  • Academic achievement
  • Commitment to the industry and community
  • Letters of recommendation
