Austria Helmut Veith Stipend Scholarship 2026 at TU Wien

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be female students with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics (or an equivalent degree)
  • Demonstrate a strong technical and mathematical background in at least one of Helmut Veith’s areas of interest:
    • Logic in Computer Science
    • Formal Methods and Verification
    • Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
    • Algorithms and Complexity Theory
    • Computer Security
  • Be proficient in English (TOEFL or equivalent; or a statement from your university if your studies were conducted in English).

Applicants must also commit to:

    • Earning at least 25 ECTS credits per semester
    • Maintaining a grade average of 1.5 or better
    • Residing in Austria during term time throughout their studies (exceptions for internships/research visits allowed with approval).
