This award is a competitive scholarship designed to support students with financial need who are beginning a Master’s program in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Kent in September 2025. While all eligible Master’s applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to students enrolling in the MA International Public Policy.

  • Be able to demonstrate financial hardship, preferably with a payslip, P60, or equivalent documents. Priority will be given to students with a household income below £30,000 annually.
  • Submit a 500-word personal statement explaining:
    • Why they chose their specific Master’s program?
    • How the scholarship would help them achieve their academic and professional goals?
