Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Award, you must meet the following conditions:

  1. Academic Achievement: You should have obtained at least a 2:1 or its equivalent in an internationally recognized undergraduate degree.
  2. Course Offer: You must have received an offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught course at Brunel University, starting in January 2025.
  3. Self-Funded International Student: You must be classified as an Overseas fee-paying student under UK government regulations and fully self-funded (not sponsored).
  4. Deposit Payment: A deposit of £5,000 towards your tuition fee must be paid and received by Brunel University by 30 November 2024.
  5. Enrollment Conditions: You must meet all the conditions of your offer and fully enroll in your postgraduate course, including holding the correct visa.

Who Is Not Eligible?

The following categories of students are not eligible for this award:

  • Students classified as Home or EU for fee purposes.
  • Those with government or employer sponsorships.
  • Postgraduate research (PhD or MPhil) applicants.
  • Students who defer their course to later months or years.
  • Applicants studying part-time, online, or through distance learning.
  • Students who have previously studied at Brunel University London.
