Are You Eligible for it?

To apply, you must:

  • Be a citizen of an ASEAN member state: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam.
  • Be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an ASEAN member state and paying tuition fees at the time of application and throughout the exchange period.

Unfortunately, you won’t be eligible if you’re applying for or already hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, are enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution, or have previously received a SEED scholarship.

SEED offers scholarships at both the college/undergraduate and graduate levels, with amounts ranging from $10,200 for a four-month stay to $12,700 for a 5-6 month research period.
