  • Poland BioLAB Scholarships 2026 for Early Researchers

    Why the BioLAB Program?

    The BioLAB Program, administered by the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission since 2013, has already supported over 600 Polish researchers in life sciences, biophysics, and medical studies.     Who can apply for Biolab Project 2026?

    To apply, you must:

    • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree (Licencjat or Inżynier)
    • Have a strong GPA (recommended 4.0 or above in the Polish system)
    • Demonstrate English proficiency (B2 or higher)
    • Maintain active student status in Poland throughout the program
    • Be eligible for a U.S. visa (F-1 or J-1)

    Note: International students enrolled in Polish universities are also eligible.


    Application Method

    To apply for the BioLAB Program 2025–26, applicants must prepare and submit a complete application package in English. All documents should be combined into a single PDF file and uploaded with the application form. The required documents include:

    • Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed academic and professional resume highlighting research experience and skills.
    • University Transcripts: Official transcripts of academic records from your Polish institution.
    • Personal Statement: A well-written essay describing your research interests, career goals, and motivation for applying to the BioLAB Program.
    • Signed Consent for Participation: The program’s required consent form confirming your agreement to participate.
    • List of Preferred Research Projects: This list should reflect your research interests and can be emailed separately to the program coordinator by the final deadline.

    In addition to the core documents, applicants may also submit up to five (05) supplementary documents in one PDF file. These can include:

    • Certificates of English language proficiency (B2 level or higher)
    • Proof of laboratory skills or technical training
    • Research publications, abstracts, or posters

    Finally, two confidential recommendation letters must be arranged by the applicant but submitted directly by referees. At least one letter should ideally come from a mentor or academic supervisor familiar with the candidate’s laboratory work or research potential.
