Application Process for Chang’an University CSC Scholarship 2026–2027

Applying for the Chang’an University Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC Type B) is a two-step journey — and each step brings you closer to your dream of studying in China tuition-free!

In the first step, candidates must complete the online application through the China Scholarship Council (CSC) portal at https://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina. Choose Program Category Type B and enter the Agency Number 10710 for Chang’an University. Fill in all required information, upload your documents, and download the CSC Application Form once complete.

In the second step, head to the Chang’an University online application system at https://is.chd.edu.cn, register an account, choose your desired program, upload all required materials. Don’t forget — applicants are strongly encouraged to apply in the first batch (Nov 1, 2025–Feb 28, 2026) to access all majors and increase their chances of selection.

Your application isn’t complete without the right documents, so make sure you prepare everything perfectly. Required materials include: the CSC Application Form, highest diploma and official transcripts (with notarized translations in English or Chinese), a motivation letter and research proposal, two academic recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, a Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and a Police Clearance Certificate issued within the last six months. Master’s and PhD applicants must also submit a Conditional Acceptance Letter from a Chang’an University supervisor (find one via https://ies.chd.edu.cn/en/8914/list.htm).

Application Deadline

The Chang’an University Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC Type B) 2026–2027 follows a two-batch application schedule to give students flexibility and a better chance of selection.
