CIA Scholarship Details

  • Tuition Assistance: Up to $25,000 per calendar year for STEM students and up to $18,000 for non-STEM students.
  • Internships: At least two 90-day tours in the Washington, DC area before graduation.
  • Employment: Guaranteed full-time employment at the CIA post-graduation.
  • Additional Benefits: Daily allowances for meals and incidentals during summer work tours, partial lodging reimbursement, transportation cost reimbursement, competitive annual salary, health insurance, federal retirement plans, paid time off, and holiday leave.

Eligibility Requirements

You can apply for CIA undergrad scholarship at NSHSS if you meet the following standard criteria in 2024:

  • GPA: Minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Income: Maximum yearly household income of $120,000 or $50,000 if independent.
  • Education: Acceptance to a 4-year college/university (if in high school) or to a graduate school (if a college senior).
  • Commitment: Availability to work at least two 90-day tours in Washington, DC, prior to graduation and willingness to work full-time at the CIA after graduation.
