Confucius Institute Scholarship Coverage – What’s Included?
Each selected student receives RMB 40,000/year, which covers:
- Tuition fees
- Insurance premiums
- Accommodation
- Monthly living expenses.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a non-Chinese citizen in good health with a valid passport.
- Hold a senior high school diploma with a solid academic record.
- Be currently enrolled in or recommended by a Confucius Institute co-built with XMU or one of its partner universities.
- Be under the age of 30 as of September 1, 2025.
- Not be receiving any other scholarship at the time of application.
- Preference is given to students from underprivileged backgrounds.
