CUG Scholarships 2025 Edition for Participation in Summer Schools and Scientific Events

Are you a student or a member of the University of Trieste’s technical-administrative staff with a passion for social equity, workplace well-being, or gender issues? The CUG Scholarships 2025 are now open, giving you the chance to participate in enriching summer schools and scientific or outreach events taking place until December 2025 – with €350 in funding for selected applicants!


What’s on Offer?

The University of Trieste’s Committee for Equal Opportunities, Employee Well-being and Non-Discrimination (CUG) is awarding 4 scholarships, each worth €350, distributed as follows:

  • 2 scholarships for students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year
  • 2 scholarships for technical-administrative staff currently employed at the university.

Eligible Events & Themes

Selected events must be organized by qualified institutions and focus on topics such as:

  • The role of women in society
  • Combating all forms of discrimination
  • Organizational and workplace well-being in public administration.

Who Can Apply?

You are eligible if you are:

  • A student enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, single-cycle, or postgraduate degree at the University of Trieste (with fees paid up to date), or
  • A technical-administrative staff member at the university.

Required Documents

To apply, prepare the following in PDF format:

  1. Valid ID (front and back) or residence permit/visa for international applicants
  2. CV (Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum)
  3. Motivation letter explaining your interest in the selected initiative
  4. Program details of the selected summer school or event and info on the organizing body.

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted online by 1:00 p.m. on 5 June 2025.
