The ERP Scholarship is aimed at outstanding graduates who wish to enhance their expertise in economics, management, and business-related disciplines. Scholarship Funding Package

Successful applicants will receive a generous scholarship package that includes:

  • Monthly stipend: €992 to cover living costs.
  • Annual study allowance: €460.
  • Full health, accident, and liability insurance coverage.
  • Travel allowance for international mobility.
  • Optional funding for a German language course up to 2 months before the start of studies.

Please note: family allowances are not included under this scholarship.

Duration of Funding

The scholarship runs for 18 to 24 months, depending on the length of the Master’s program (typically 3–4 semesters). Renewal after the first year requires proof of satisfactory academic achievement.


Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics or Business Administration.
  • Have completed their degree within the last six years.
  • Apply simultaneously to three German universities for admission.
  • Provide proof of German or English language proficiency, according to the chosen program.
  • Not have lived in Germany for more than 15 months before the application deadline.

Applications are submitted online via the DAAD portal and must include:

  • Motivation letter (1–2 pages).
  • Academic transcripts and degree certificates (with translations if required).
  • Proof of language proficiency (German or English).
  • Letter of recommendation from a university professor (currently optional).
  • Certificate of school-leaving qualification and any other relevant documents.

Application Deadlines

The application deadline for the DAAD ERP Study Scholarships 2026 is 31 October 2025. The selection process will take place between February and March 2026, with successful applicants beginning their scholarship-funded Master’s studies in Germany from October 2026.
