DMACC Foundation Scholarship 2025 Open

Applying for a DMACC Foundation Scholarship is straightforward and can significantly ease your educational expenses at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC). The process is simple: complete the General Application and get automatically matched with scholarships you qualify for.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must meet the following basic requirements:

  1. Educational Qualification: Hold a high school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma before the upcoming fall term begins.
  2. Enrollment at DMACC: Be a current DMACC student, and incoming students must first apply for admission to DMACC and obtain a User ID and password to access the scholarship application.
  3. Academic Performance: Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  4. Course Load: Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for the fall and spring terms or 4 credit hours for the summer term.
  5. Financial Aid Status: Students on financial aid suspension or attending DMACC as guest students are not eligible.

Some scholarships may have additional criteria, such as:

  • Higher GPA requirements.
  • Being a first-year or second-year student.
  • Enrollment in a specific academic program.
  • Residency in a particular geographic area.
  • Participation in community service or extracurricular activities.

Applications for the 2025–2026 academic year are divided into two cycles:

  • Cycle 1: December 1, 2024 – March 1, 2025
