East China University of Technology (ECUST) CSC Scholarship 2025 in Shanghai

East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) has opened applications for its prestigious CSC Fully Funded Scholarship 2025, providing a unique opportunity for international students to pursue Master’s and Doctoral programs. The scholarship offers comprehensive support, covering tuition, accommodation, monthly living stipends, and medical insurance.

Scholarship Benefits and Financial Support

The ECUST CSC Scholarship provides a complete tuition waiver for selected candidates. In addition, recipients are eligible for on-campus accommodation, a monthly stipend of 3,000 CNY for Master’s students and 3,500 CNY for Doctoral students, and comprehensive medical insurance. The university aims to attract outstanding international talent to its academic programs in Shanghai.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport, be in good health, and meet the following academic and language requirements:

  • For Master’s Programs: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • For Doctoral Programs: A Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • For Chinese-taught programs, candidates must hold a minimum HSK 5 score of 210 or HSK 6 score of 180 unless they have previously earned a degree from a Chinese-taught program.
    • For English-taught programs, a minimum TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS 6.0 is required, although native English speakers and applicants with previous degrees in English are exempt.

Applicants must complete an online application through the ECUST system (https://ies.ecust.edu.cn/en/msg.php?id=975) and submit all required documents, including a valid passport, degree certificates, transcripts, language proficiency certificates, a study plan, and more.
