About ECUST
Founded in 1952, ECUST is located in Shanghai’s downtown Xuhui district and is easily accessible via Metro Line 15. The university is also an authorized HSK test center, offering year-round Chinese language courses tailored to international students of all proficiency levels.
Chinese Language Course Highlights for 2025 Session
The Chinese Language Program is designed for students at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels with a range of benefits:

Program Details
- Duration: February 24, 2025 – July 2, 2025 (Spring Semester).
- Levels Offered: Elementary (A/B), Intermediate (C/D), and Advanced (E).
- Class Schedule:
- Practical Chinese Skills: Monday to Friday, 8:55 AM – 12:25 PM.
- Chinese Culture Experience (Elective): 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM.
