What This Fellowship Is About?
EIT Urban Mobility is seeking proposals for activities that empower students and universities to lead the transformation of tomorrow’s cities. The call focuses on high-quality, challenge-based, intersectoral, and international education designed to:
- Foster innovation & entrepreneurship skills
- Increase student and graduate engagement in urban mobility fields
- Strengthen university-industry-city collaborations
- Support startup creation through EIT-labelled programs
With a funding pool of €1.22 million, this call is your gateway to impactful research, academic collaboration, and real-world problem solving.
Activities You Can Join
Applicants have the freedom to shape their learning journey by choosing from six activity streams designed to maximize learning and impact. Imagine yourself attending cutting-edge summer schools for master’s students, or even joining brand-new master’s programs focused on urban mobility and sustainability.
Universities can also take the leap by joining the existing Master School network or bringing their programs under the EIT Urban Mobility Fellowship. There’s even support available for EIT label accreditation, which ensures the program meets the highest European standards. Whichever activity stream you choose, you’ll be part of something bold, scalable, and globally connected.
Who Can Apply?
This call is open to:
- Universities, institutions, and innovators from all EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
- Individual applicants or consortia with at least two independent entities across two different countries.
- Programs that embed international mobility as a core requirement—ensuring a truly global student experience.
Whether you’re applying solo or with partners, participation ensures integration into EIT’s prestigious education network and access to top-tier collaborations across Europe and beyond
Application Dates to Remember
Timing is everything, and the clock has already started ticking. The final deadline for submissions is 10 September 2025 at 17:00 CEST, so don’t wait until the last moment.
Once applications close, proposals will go through an eligibility check in October, followed by evaluations in October and November. The results will be communicated in December 2025, and the projects are expected to kick off on 1 January 2026. This means that within months, you could be on your way to contributing to urban mobility transformation at a European level.
