Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the FIPRS, you must:
- Be a citizen of any country except New Zealand and not hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Intend to commence full-time study for a higher degree by research in Australia for the first time in the year for which the award is offered.
- Intend to enroll in an area of research concentration where Flinders University has particular strength and external funding.
- Satisfy all entry requirements for a higher degree by research, including English language proficiency.
Application Process
To ensure your application is complete, follow this checklist:
- Research Supervisor: Contact an academic staff member in your relevant academic area and obtain an agreement for supervision.
- Publications: Include up to five of your publications with completed coversheets. Publications should be recent (within 5 years) and primarily in English.
- Academic Transcripts: Provide certified copies of all university-level academic transcripts, translated into English.
- Research Proposal: Submit a research proposal (https://daadscholarship.com/research-proposal-for-scholarship-applications/) of approximately 500 words.
- Academic Referee Reports: Complete Section A of two Academic Referee’s Confidential Report forms and forward them to two referees.
- Curriculum Vitae: Include an updated CV outlining work experience, research experience, and a list of cited publications.
