The For Our Future Scholarship 2025–26, funded by the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation, is now open for applications — and it’s designed specifically for students like you.
This prestigious scholarship isn’t just a financial aid program. It’s a recognition of the hard work, dedication, and leadership shown by Hong Kong’s youth — those who are committed to creating a brighter future for their community and themselves. In the upcoming academic year, 15 scholarships worth HK$50,000 each will be awarded to outstanding students from Hong Kong’s 14 higher education institutions, including Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), which will nominate up to two students.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a local student aged between 18 and 30
- Be enrolled full-time in Year 2 or above of a bachelor’s degree program, or in a master’s program at a local university
- Have achieved a minimum cGPA of 3.3 in the 2024–25 academic year
- Display strong achievements in personal development (arts, music, sports, etc.)
- Show active engagement in social services and demonstrate leadership.
For senior entrants or first-year master’s students, a GPA of 3.3 or above from their previous degree is required.

What Happens After Application Submission?
Shortlisted students will be invited to an internal panel interview at HKBU in early December 2025. Finalists will then be recommended to the Foundation for further interviews in early 2026, with results announced in April 2026. The scholarship will be awarded at a formal Award Presentation Ceremony scheduled for 28 April 2026. Disbursement will be made in two installments — HK$40,000 at the ceremony, and HK$10,000 upon completing service hours by 30 April 2027.
