Exciting news for European students aiming to pursue a Master’s degree in France! The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has officially opened applications for the France Excellence Europa Scholarship Programme 2025.
This French scholarship provides financial support for outstanding students from 26 European Union countries who wish to study at the Master’s level in a French higher education institution.
Europa Scholarship Sponsorship Package
Successful applicants of France Europa 2025 scholarship will receive:
- €6,850 as a half-yearly allowance.
- €1,700 installation allowance for settling in France.
- Exemption from registration fees at public universities.
- Priority access to CROUS university residences (housing fees to be covered by the student).
- Health insurance coverage for the first three months (for non-European Health Insurance Card holders).
- Exemption from CVEC (Contribution de Vie Étudiante et de Campus) fees.
- Special cultural activity discounts via Campus France.
Note: The scholarship does not cover tuition fees or international/national travel expenses.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the France Excellence Europa scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of one of the 26 EU member states (excluding French nationals and bi-nationals).
- Be at least 18 years old at the start of the study period in France.
- Have admission to a Master’s 1 (M1) or Master’s 2 (M2) program at a French university for the 2025-26 academic year.
- Not hold a French higher education degree or be currently enrolled in a French institution.
- Not be a recipient of an Erasmus+, AUF, or any other French government scholarship.
There is no upper age limit to apply, as long as the applicant does not already possess a Master’s degree.
